Oyedele Philips is a managing partner at Philips Oyedele & Co. He has more than 15 years of expertise in audit and assurance, has trained with one of Nigeria’s medium-sized audit firms, and has a track record of employment in the financial services and audit and assurance industries. He is also quite knowledgeable about the various industries’ VAT and income tax laws at the local level.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT), an Associate Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (ANIMN), an Associate Member of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (ABR), and a holder of a Financial Modeling and Business Valuation Analyst certification by the Corporate Financial Institute USA. He holds an HND in accounting with Upper Credit from Osun State College Of Technology, Esa-Oke, and a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in accounting with Second Class Upper from the University of Lagos, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. with Babcock University. He is a sponsored individual with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
